Computer Based Training (CBT)

Clients: Google, National Geographic & The Concord Consortium

Overview: Funded by a Google grant, The Concord Consortium, The National Geographic Society, and Celerity teamed up to provide a visual facelift to the existing computer-based training modules called High-Adventure Science. This product helps middle and high school science students investigate the mechanisms of climate change, learn how scientists use modern tools to find planets around distant stars, and evaluate whether underground stores of water will be sufficient to support a growing population.

Solution: Acted as a visual designer and created mood boards to get buy-in from the executive team on the visual design direction for the project. Then executed several mock-ups to provide a comprehensive set of templates and style guides for handoff to the front-end engineering team for development.
